I do something almost identical in my DF game, since we have two scouts who would otherwise be rolling multiple times per turn for what was rarely a roll of any drama or consequence.

I should say I don't bother with "Rules Exemption." I just figure Heroic Archer is good enough to cover that.

I wouldn't bother with that one either.

Actually I don't think Fast Draw is a combat skill. Yes it's use in combat, but so is Acrobatics, Soldier, Tactics and many other skills. I think only "skill used for attacking" are "combat skills". And it makes good sense those shouldn't be allowed to benefit from "no roll".
The perk seems tailor written specifically for skills like Fast Draw and so it seems silly to me, that you'd need another perk just to get it.

Interesting. I like knowing there's a possibility, however small, of the scout critically failing fast-draw and spilling arrows everywhere. The more you roll, the more chance for failure, and if you never roll fast-draw, there's never a danger of that event throwing a wrench in the works.

Fair enough. I made the player take it when people on the forums seemed certain that No-Nuisance Roll couldn't do that, but I'm glad to allow him to drop it and use the point for something else.

Hi Peter, thanks for all your contributions to my RP fun!

Do you also allow a No-Nuisance Roll Perk for the Bow-1 (with WM and HA) quick-ready roll?

The only problem is that he is using a bow with at most ST5, this way it's easy.

I'm not concerned with real life, just reducing my rolls in DF. A couple of exemption Perks or RPK's Instant Shot would do the trick. Thought I'd see if there were any other takes on it.

you, along with many other people, seem to be missing the point. the video is about the technique he uses to shoot the arrow, not what bow he uses. that technique took him a few years to get right, if you were to teach a 10 year old how to do this and train them with a stronger bow, you will get the same results.

its not about the bow or the person, its about the technique, Lars proves that it is possible to release more arrows than normal when you have them all in hand.
