Is it too late for me to get in on this?

Sorry folks, but I'm not going to be able to continue this right now. You guys (and gals) go have fun.

Re: Torn Victor [Recruitment]
MatthewVilter, I'm guessing there's time. We have not quite three characters, and I suspect four would be better. There have been no posts except background yet. But you can check with TheOneRonin to be sure.

Re: Torn Victor [Recruitment]
He graciously offered to help me out with mine. Hopefully that'll get things to move along a bit faster. Now I just have to add stuff to Ariella's background.

Re: Torn Victor [Recruitment]
Not at all. We have plenty of room.
Jmurrell dropped out, so the Criminal Investigation/LEO background is wide open. Here is what we have so far: Ammulder is playing a former Army SF Intel NCO who's got the Intelligence and social angles covered. Ladyarcana55 for a former Israeli Sayeret Commando, specializing in Explosives, Weapons, and Infiltration. Fifiste is play former Warsaw Pact Vehicle/Mechanic expert. Everything else is open. And though I'm okay with some overlap, I would prefer to have some diversity in character specialties. |

Now I'm not saying this to anyone in particular... just speaking to the wall, here... One of the specialties the team doesn't yet have covered is the medic... :)

Jmurrell's character was going to cover that, but since he isn't playing, it's open. Thankfully, the base template has very good first aid skills, which should allow you guys to deal most of the lower level health threats you'll likely encounter. But again, having a trained Medic/EMT is a REALLY FREAKING GOOD IDEA. :-) |

Re: Torn Victor [Recruitment]
I was actually hoping medic was still open. I like what I have heard about USAF Pararescue so that is what I was thinking of playing.
Backstory wise I was thinking an honest-to-goodness Kansas farm boy turned spec ops badass. Maybe some hard culture shock during his first special forces deployment and since then a growing respect for other cultures combined with a newfound (or rather, newly refined) appreciation for the good old US of A. How does all that sound? |

I think I might have a PJ lens somewhere in this thread. If not, I'll make one. It's a good concept. Edit: found it here. Last edited by TheOneRonin; 01-17-2015 at 05:44 PM. Reason: Found link |
