62. not me but one of my players...
We did a modern people accidently wind up in a fantasy world story.
He played a physicist, going towards mage now that he's in a fantasy world, once he got high enough level to use the Fabricate spell...

He used Fabricate: Atomic Device, on the big bad guy's castle...
He is never allowed to do that again.

(Hm kind of unfair not to let him do the spell after spending the effort to create it, but I suppose infinite atomic bombs in a society where no one is even close to figuring out nuclear physics would just be boring)

63. I can't turn the entire campaign into a complex plan to gain total control on all production of glass in the world.

64. Screw it glass does not exist at all, instead they will all be replaced with a unbreakable plastic substance.

65. Sand also does not exist anymore.

I let it go off, but I will never create the conditions where that could come up in another game.

There aren't that many nuclear physicists that really know the ins and outs of a real world nuke. Theoretical knowledge is no match for engineering practicality. I would make hims sweat out the details, and likely make it not go off or with horribly low yield.

I admit I was flabberghasted, and yes this guy acvtually took the time to explain how a low grade nuclear bomb (IE:fatman & littleboy not an ICBM) would work, once you get the machine to split the atoms right....

I know the basis of the internal combustion engine. But I sure as heck could not build a car.

Sounds like The Secret of NIMH kicked up a notch.

Bunnie in a world of humanity is more Cthulu-esque than anything else I can imagine. They exist in a world with incredibly powerful intelligent but completely uncaring creatures that will kill them with nary a thought.

Yeah, that was one of my inspirations for it. Only ONE of my players -- a high school English teacher -- caught on to it; he actually enjoyed the game. The rest of the players were all students, and spent the majority of the game with "deer in the headlamps" looks on their faces.

Wouldn't that be "rabbit in the headlamps" faces?
