Then it more or less has to be Crown price Rudolph, I suppose. I wasn't aware of his diet/health obsession though.

Yep, that's the one. A sort of Lady Di of her time, though with a different personality.

Nope, I think I would've needed quite a different set of reputations and compulsive disorders in that case… Our character is a bit more on the "street-level" side of things, the Batman to Casanova's Superman…

I'd almost guess Francois Villon, but some of the facts of his life might not fit, depending on which sources you credit. He lived in what would be the juncture of TL 3 and TL 4

History ain't an exact science ;)

But yeah, it's supposed to be a version of Villon. If I remember correctly, some sources say he never existed but as a pseudonym, possibly for a lawyer. Lots of historical characters could be done in multiple different ways. Did Caligula have astronomically high Disads or a good Acting skill?

Sweet.

I like your version of Villon.

Now, try this one-

TL 5

reputation (veteran military officer)
reputation( famous politician)
reputation (self-made man)
allies (political faction)

enemy ( a rival politician)
possibly CoH: gentleman

quirks- pious, attaches little importance to distinctions of color or race, ambitious

French (bought up to native level)

profession- soldier
economics
politics
law
