How would you do this (weird advantage)?
I was wondering how I would go about creating a character who had the ability to turn one thing into another, totally different, thing, such as forging a sword from moonbeams or spinning straw into gold.
The nearest advantages I can see would be snatcher or gadgeteer, but both of them would require considerable modification to fit this concept. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

Re: How would you do this (weird advantage)?
Create X with modifiers would probably be the way to do it. But since Powers won't be out until '05, Snatcher is probably your best bet for now.
FWIW, here's how I'd probably do the straw-to-gold thing as Snatcher: Snatcher (Permanent, +300%; Specialized: Only gold, -10%; Requires a like amount of straw, -10%; Activation Skill: Easy (Sewing/TL4), -10%; Requires the use of a spinning wheel, -20%; Reduced Fatigue Cost 2, +40%) [312]. |

I honestly think snatcher should have been a more generic 'Create X' style of power, with modifiers to simulate various common themes, including snatcher.
