If you missed out and want to score near-exact replicas of several eighties releases . . .

I am speculating that things didn't quite go to plan with the pocket box Kickstarter, and I guess we're lucky that a decent number of items are now showing up on w23 at all. I've been trying to get the Ogre and Car Wars items after having missing the KS, and while it seems I'll be able to get most, the missing Ogre pocket box is a bit annoying. Not much point for me to get GEV and the expansions without the original game.

I am unsure of what would make you think this, but the project did quite well. So well, in fact, that we've been working on a second Pocket Box campaign for 2021.

Skipping one of our Kickstarter projects means possibly missing out. With the current state of the market, some projects are not designed around keeping hundreds or thousands of copies in the warehouse.

Consider my speculative comments purely a reflection of a fan's frustration on being so far unable to snag various items after missing a Kickstarter...looking forward to Pocket Box KS #2 at any rate.

Groovis -- now to pick up a Trapper Keeper for modification[*], and I can re-create my full-'80s look. :)

We highly recommend joining in Kickstarter campaigns if you want the items we are producing. Having hundreds or thousands of extra copies of some titles simply is not good for the business these days.

Where possible, we have held back some titles to offer in the 2021 Kickstarter campaign for those who missed out. Following our Kickstarter accounts is one good way to receive notice of new projects.

Hey Phil,
Have you guys thought about print on demand? easy to have the pdf files and then only print as you get orders or let someone else do the printing and shipping for stuff.

We use print-on-demand for some titles. The Pocket Box games do not lend themselves to that technology.

I am sorry, I just had to use that line since you gave me the opening for it.
