Default Naughty and Nice question

The level 12 monsters from Naughty and Nice, German ShepherdsandSugar Plum Furry each grant 4 treasures when defeated, I'm just curious about this as all other level 12 monsters that I know of grant 3 treasures.

If the cards say 4 treasures, go with 4.

Those monsters were on their way home from holiday shopping so they had extras.

I made that up.

This is the result of inattention on the part of the designer. However, it's extra Treasure, so quit complaining. ;-)

I always welcome extra treasures, especially at this time of year :-)

I kick down the door and there is a l1 monster.
Then I decide (during this combat vs l1) to become a ‘Nice’. Would it lead to discard of the monster without fighting?
Note that I was not ‘Nice’ at the moment of kicking down the door.

That...is an interesting question. I am going to say no because otherwise it opens up weird timing issues and because you can choose to Look for Trouble against low-Level monsters even when you are Nice.
