Yes, he was a German poet who "invented" the "Blue Flower" (whatever that means; it's something about poetry - I'll look it up, okay). Perhaps this is what made his name a choice for the Archangel of Flowers...?

Definitely not shelved. What's been going on is that the rat-b#$(&% managing editor has been piling up gotta-do-this-now projects on Scott's desk, and Scott has been pushing through them as fast as he can so he can get back to our regularly scheduled programming. (He's been pretty darn fast, too, by the way.)

I think we're at the end of the crash priority list now, so the next In Nomine release can get back on track. There's still a couple of weeks of editorial and production work to be done on it, so don't look for it immediately. But it IS coming.

- How does Litheroy appear as a human monkish scholar (as described in Feast of Blades)... doesn't it cut against his nature to appear as anything other than a Seraph? Or maybe he only appears in that form while in-vesseled, but always maintains his Seraph appearance when Celestial...

- Do the other members of the Seraphim council just kind give Litheroy a look whenever they're about to discuss strategy & secret plans for the War, & Litheroy (and any other Seraph of Revelations in the chamber) nods solemnly, gets up & leaves the room?

- Should be interesting to see the depths of Litheroy's actions & organization considering it has literally no secrets...

- I wonder how/when Litheroy got his Word (we know when he became an Archangel, but he was an Angel of Knowledge for some time before that & presumedly held the Word of Revelations for some time)... as I've presented him in my games, he actually got the Word a full millenium earlier during the reign of Gebbeleth. He was awarded with it for his constant foiling of the Web (my name for Gebbeleth's monastic, Mystery Cult-like, organization)

Personally I don't like, nor have I ever liked, Litheroy.

When I run games, he is the Angel of Revelations currently serving Destiny, transferred over on the death of Raphael.

I always did like him, even if strategically it doesn't make sense to make him an Archangel it makes conceptual sense. Which could be one of those indications of how Celestials think differently then humans.

Of course IMC sometimes Angels become Archangels on their own and the Seraphim Council just acknowledges this (Khalid I'm looking at you)

I'm not sure how much of the reasoning why Rafe backed him got into it -- I think some of it is held back for the nonce -- but there's a reason. It's not an obvious one.
