Default [Star Wars, 3e] T-47 Snowspeeder

Incom T-47 Combat Airspeeder (Snowspeeder) (TL11)
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/T-47_airspeeder

The T-47 has a crew of two: gunner and pilot. Use Piloting (Airspeeder) skill. The engines consume 39 gph of water, giving the vehicle a range of 4,100 miles on a single tank of fuel. However, the afterburner increases fuel consumption to 222 gph, greatly reducing endurance.

Subassemblies: Body with Very Good Streamlining +3, 2 Wings +2, 3 Retractable Skids +0.
Power and Propulsion: 1,970-lb. thrust Fusion Rocket Drives with 400 gallons Water in an Ultralight Fuel Tank (Fire 0) plus 3,650-lb. thrust Antimatter Thermal Drive and ¼ gram of Antimatter in an Antimatter Fuel Bay; 30-kW Nuclear Power Unit (5 year lifespan), 14,000-lb. Contragrav Generator, 6,055,200-kWs Rechargeable Power cell for blaster cannons.
Occupancy: 2 NCS.
Cargo: 10 kg (1.1 cf.)

Armor
All: 4/150 (Radiation PF 5).

aSpeed: 406 aAccel: 3 aDecel: 18 aMR: 4.5 aSR: 5
Stall Speed: 0. aSpeed 688, aAccel 8 with afterburner.

Design Notes:
Body is 275 cf; Wings are 35 cf each; Skids are 13.75 cf. Structure is Heavy, Standard with Very Good Streamlining. Armor is Expensive Metal. Computerized controls. Design speed was 407 mph; it was lowered to the “historical” value. The NPU provides an extra 5 kW which can be used to recharge the blasters’ power cell, but not fast enough for combat use.
The OM mounts a light blaster cannon; this is interchangeable with a magnetic harpoon gun. For simplicity, use the same stats for either gun.
Ion drives, as described on Wookieepedia, are actually more analogous to GURPS Fusion Rocket drives, and so this was the drive used. Note that these drives produce hot, radioactive exhaust. The fact that these drives use water might explain why the Rebels had “trouble adapting them to the cold.”
The afterburner was modeled by adding a secondary Antimatter Thermal Drive to produce the extra thrust. I envision this drive as an additional module in the Fusion Rocket Drive that dumps antimatter and additional water into the drive system, creating extra thrust much like modern-day afterburners. This drive uses 0.015 grams of antimatter per hour of afterburning, allowing for 17 hours of afterburner use before the antimatter needs to be replaced.
The civilian version of the T-47 would delete or downgrade all of the military grade gear, as well as the afterburner and medium blaster cannons. Commercial vessels would still mount a magnetic harpoon for handling cargo. Reduce armor to DR 100 and length to 4.5 m.
