URGENT! EMERGENCY! NEED GUIDANCE!

if a wandering level 20 is played on you does it attack you if you are below 5? because it says will not pursue level 5 or below, does pursue mean if you draw it face up it wont attack or it wont chase you if you run away?

um too bad?

If you choose to fight it, you can and get levels and treasure if you win.

If other players enhance it beyond your ability to win...then you escape automatically without needing to roll a die.

How is that bad?

Because if it gets added to another combat, it can force you to Run Away from a monster that you could otherwise easily kill.

But that goes for any monsters added that you can't kill, not just monsters added that will not pursue.

Yeah but I understand how it could be a problem. I think the person was asking if "Will not persue" basically means "Will not fight" such as Amazon. Or even better if somebody throws in the stoned Golum you can choose at any time to ignore it (if I remember a previous post from MM correctly).

Whenever I play with my friends we seem to run into The plutonium dragon on the first draw so. Instead of fighting it or Arguing we just cut the door deck and put it back in so 1) we can fight it later and 2) so we odon't have long drawn out arguements so early in the games. however, This only works if the Monster "will not pursue".
