I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see what we post for the game.

Well, given that statement, I'm sure I'll be quite happy. Thanks!

No problem at all. We agree that it is important that the card information be out there; we're just working on completing that section of the site and trying to launch it before the game reaches stores.

I'm saddened to report that, while my son and I both enjoyed the game at the pre-release, our enthusiasm is now somewhat tempered by the fact that nobody else at home seems to enjoy it. I don't know if I just suck at teaching it, or they just have different tastes, but they couldn't get the hang of it, didn't like the bluffing aspect (which I found to be the best part), and felt rather powerless to do anything on most turns (can't say if that was just bad luck or they were playing wrong, since I couldn't see their cards).

I'm still planning on getting the other starters, in hopes that maybe the other hero types might appeal more to whatever play style they would prefer (plus I just want them, darn it).

It takes a few turns to grasp the gameplay, especially if a player is approaching the game as "I love Munchkin, I know Munchkin!" and doesn't have experience with some of the larger CCGs out there.

The best way I have found to teach is to _not_ play against someone. Find two people and teach them together, going slowly and offering advice. When the lightbulb clicks, the new players start to take control and make their own decisions.

Also, each class does have a different feel.

Not sure how I missed this. We DO have images available online, our card databased went live last Friday: http://munchkinccg.game/gameplay/card-search/

Simply search for the first set and you can check out all the cards.

Thanks! Yeah, I found that feature shortly after it appeared. Exactly what I was looking for.
