Default GM notes

When I was playing my first game, the card "The GM's Notes" came up.
It says that it allows you to read the Gm's notes any time.

What notes? Was the GM supposed to be taking notes o.o?

Ah, you're talking about a Munchkin Quest card. That part about "reading the GM's notes" is just there for fun. The actual effect of the card follows that: You draw two DxM cards and can use them immediately (if possible), whatever they are, even if you're in combat.

The act of you drawing two DxM cards and getting to play them even against the normal rules is referred to as "reading the GM's notes." There's not actually any GM's notes anywhere. Munchkin humor!
