Two Wandering Monster Questions

First - can a Wandering Monster be played after successfully running away from all current foes?

Second - if a Wandering Monster is played after defeating current foes, do you now have to defeat the combined levels of ALL monsters (defeated & the new Wandering Monster), or just the new one.

1)Once you run away the combat is over and no one can add a wandering monster.
2) You have to give them an appropriate amount of time to put things into combat, once the battle has been determined and time was given it is over, if you won collect your treasures and gain your level. But if they add the wandering monster during the battle, then Yes, you would fight the combined levels/bonuses of all the monsters in the battle together.
