Re: There's a Monster on the loose!
Peter & Sean, this is fantastic work. I bought. I raved. I badgered others to buy! There are old favorites and all new foes cementing the DF line as the system that needs to be the system dungeon role players use.
The illustrations are particularly good and just make me even more rabid to see this book, if not the whole DF line in hard back and full color. RH

I think it is the same as in Powers, actually, so only new to DF (which doesn't require Powers).

Re: There's a Monster on the loose!
I finally got around to reading it, and it's a great item. The art rocks, and the written content is up to Mr. Punch's and Mr. Dell'Orto's usual and very high standards.

And yes, the art pretty much rocks! I'm quite pleased with the look-and-layout of the book.

Re: There's a Monster on the loose!
It's new as far as DF is concerned, not as far as GURPS in general goes. Please remember that lots of people who don't have much of a GURPS library do have DF. Items that only appear in Powers or Martial Arts don't exist for them until I put said items in a DF supplement.

Re: There's a Monster on the loose!
Lots of new stuff in there, sir_pudding. The mobs are either new or good uptakes of standard dungeon fare. Sure, everyone has carnivorous apes, but gladiator apes? O.O
And the art really is good. I suppose that's not a draw for a lot of folks, but I like art. |
