Challenges, TDMs and Feats for ST (Strength)?
Greetings, all!
Some game systems have a page listing sample feats that would require having this much strength to achieve. Bending bars, turning gears, ripping chains, forcing open unpowered doors etc. I know there are some scattered around, but I'm interested in at least consolidating some of them and perhaps finding ways to benchmark some more. E.g. I know that spaceship doors tend to do (SM) dice of damage, and can back-calculate their ST from that, and there's a (somewhat overcomplicated) way of calculating the roll modifier for breaking handcuffs with brute strength, but surely I'm missing a lot more of them than I have. So, what are good places to look for more such examples, or for ways of easily benchmarking them on the fly? Thanks in advance! |

Dungeon Fantasy 2, Page 8 has the Muscling Through section with rules for Bashing, Forcing, Bending, Lifting, and Hiii-yah!'ing your way past doors, chests, bars, portcullises, etc.

Also, is it me, or is focusing on ST for feats like that less viable in GURPS than in other systems (being either very expensive bang-for-buck)? |
