Max talents
How can you set GCA to not allow anything higher then +4 from talents? As an example if a character has three talents, and combined they are giving a single skill a +6, is this allowed? It seems not right. I would say talents, even combined cant add more then a +4.
any help? |

Re: Max talents
While an individual talent is limited to +4, overlapping talents can officially stack. I don't think there's a way to limit multiple talents from giving a bonus to a single skill, and if there were this could also cause problems with talent-like traits - e.g. should Voice and Musical Ability be similarly limited to giving a bonus to Singing?

Re: Max talents
If you want to enforce this, you can do so manually. The simplest and fastest (if a bit cheesy) way is to pick some random non-leveled advantage or disadvantage on the character sheet, click Edit, click Advanced, find the "gives" entry, and add something like "-2 to SK:Stealth" if you want to offset +2 to Stealth from a second Talent.
A more professional way would be to add a new statistic that does the same thing, but even then you'd still have to raise and lower it manually.
