Floating Nose Bribe

I have a few questions about Floating Nose

1.) If there are 2 monsters into the fight and one of them is Floating Nose. Can you choose to bribe it and fight the other one?
The text says : "if you don't want to fight it..."

2.) Can you start the fight and after enhancements on it, decide to bribe it and go away?

Yes. The Floating Nose will effectively leave the combat, so you will be only facing the other Monster.

Yes, you can get rid of Floating Nose at any time during the combat by bribing it.
