Class/Race powers active
We had a situation come up last night playing Star Munchkin where a player kicked a Feline race card. He equipped it and said since he was a feline and didn't find a monster he could kick again. I tried to tell him that since he was not a feline during his initial kick, and did not have the power when he kicked, he couldn't kick again this turn. He said that because he had the power he could use it even though he got the power from his first kick?
When do class or race powers go into effect? Does the Feline curiosity power retroactively let him kick again? Edit: I just thought of another one. When faced with a curse on their turn, could a player become an orc to lose a level instead of get hit by the curse after the curse is already in play? Re: Class/Race powers active
Munchkin doesn't have a "stack" or similar timing mechanic. To answer your questions in that light:
* A player who kicks open the door and finds a Feline card may put it into play. Then, using the rule on Feline, she may kick open another door since the first one wasn't a monster and she is currently Feline. * When you are hit by a Curse, you must deal with the Curse as your character currently stands before doing anything else. You cannot put the Curse "on hold" in order to play an Orc card to cancel the Curse.

Thank you for your quick response.
I thought this fell under the "things happen when they happen" category, but thank you for clarifying that. |

Yeah, I too would have thought that you would have to be a Feline at the point that you Kicked. I'll make sure to do it correctly if it comes up (was just thinking I needed to play Star Munchkin again).
