While you are in here and making us happy, can you comment on whether storm carbines being pi++ is a typo or intended? |

* x1.1 base damage * +1 bulk * x0.7 to 1/2D range and about x1.1 to max range * double the power requirement for the gun * about 1.5x weight and cost of the weapon itself * about 1.33x increase in Rcl * About 1.18x increase in ST * a bit over 2x increase in ammunition weight (or halving of number of shots) This is with the same ammo, i.e., retaining the (3) armor divisor with APEP. Going to APHC only reduces the armor divisor to (2).

And to clarify, was this the result of upping the caliber of a Gauss Rifle, 4mm to 6.5mm?

Re: [Ultra-Tech] Errata in weapons lists?
Ok, is this one an erratum?
On p142, should the Portable Railgun have its ammo type listed as 10mmG? G seems to stand for grenade, but the damage doesn't correlate with other grenade weapons, and the larger 40mm Railgun isn't listed with G ammo either. The text on p141 describes the rounds as slugs, but then the ammo table on p143 repeats the ammo type as 10mmG and this is the only weapon that uses 10mm EM rounds (whether G or not). And before anyone asks, I'll report via official channels too. |

Thanks, I really wondered how Gauss ammo looked. Are those subcaliber darts with some superconducting sabots or does 4mm refer to the size of the dart?
