well you have to discard a card before u can use chuck to get tresure cards, thus I'd say no

I believe that the discard has to happen after combat is over but before you receive treasure; so the discard comes from what you have not from what you receive.

You must discard the card once the combat has ended, which happens before you draw your Treasures or before you roll to Run Away.
