Mining dump trucks.
Were those super sized 300 ton plus mining dump trucks used in quarries ever addressed by the rules?

Re: Mining dump trucks.
NOVA has a mining trucks article on its Web site. The late Aaron Allston wrote rules for mining trucks. I can provide details in a private message.

Re: Mining dump trucks.
Such a truck also featured as "the boss battle" in _Ultraforce_, the Autoventures supplement.

Re: Mining dump trucks.
Thanks. I've often wondered about them, and why they were never featured in any official SJGames CW supp.
I think I brought up the TFG supps, but since they're not SJGames CW products, the thread got moved to the other games section. I have Ultraforce, but I've never had a chance to play it. |

Re: Mining dump trucks.
Simply put: They are Too Bloody Big. They're slow-moving; they have to-hit bonuses of buildings (which they sort-of are...); and building one would result in something just this side of something from _CW Tanks_, and we all remember how much fun *those* were to deal with (IMSMC: The dump truck in _Ultraforce_ has two complete levels of side-firing weapons...).

Re: Mining dump trucks.
Yeh, but you'd be one bad mutha out in the badlands. It'd take a couple of tanks or a team of unlimited division types to take you down.
Either way I was always curious. I guess maybe they just didn't fit into the CW scheme of things. |

Except that with a mileage measured in gallons-per-mile, the thing is gonna have a heck of a time protecting it's own logistical tail. :)

Re: Mining dump trucks.
That's why the two we've used using NOVA pages rules have been Nuclear powered .
One was the mobile Base of an African Warlord , the other a modular super transporter for supersized loads .
