Indeed.

So no Attribute Penalty affliction, no affliction of alzheimer-like stuff etc.
You can have dietary or chemical imbalances that could feasibly cause those effects. But really, Unaging is only worth points if it so happens that you've decided to make Aging Leech based attacks in your game, and if Healing can't reverse the same.

Or campaigns run long enough to make it matter. I know such games are rare, but not Unicorn sightings like many seem to imply in this thread.

I think it depends on the GM, and their play preference. I have only ran 2 since '05. I suspect the supposed unicorn sighting effect just so happens because those making the implications have similar track records with decades, centuries, or millenia in their games.

Of course every style's different. But just because you play only Science Fiction doesn't mean you get to call rules involving magic wrong and/or worth no points for never being useful, in a general forum.

(Generic you, of course.)

I suppose that depends on whether the generic you as a majority runs Sci-Fi. One of the people in the editorial staff decided to reduce the value of aging traits as a house rule. I think that has some reflection on gaming trends on the whole. Either way, I think it's off topic, so I'm going to try to stop responding to it.

Probably doesn't matter how the aging attack might look on a character sheet so much as does the gamemaster plan on having aging attacks occur in her campaign; if the answer is:

No Unaging 0pts. Self Destruct -0pts.
Yes, maybe but very rarely 0pts. -0pts
Yes, definitely but very rarely 0/1pt -0pts
Yes, definitely, all the time 15pts. -10pts
