24" x 20" x 6", if memory serves, but I didn't readily find a reference for that.
I've seen it in person. It's HUGE.

Re: final size of 6E box?
Is that the size of the box, or of the shipping carton?

The box. The shipping carton will be larger.
It's not a game; it's a fold-out country. ;)

Re: final size of 6E box?
The footprint of the shipping carton should be only slightly larger (cardboard thickness, so probably 25"x21" or so). My understanding (from many updates ago) is that the counters are shipping outside the box, so the shipping carton is probably 10-12" high.
[The Ogre garage, counter tray, and boards fill the box even when empty, so the unpunched counters need to be outside. Once punched, they fit in the box.] Edit: I vaguely remember seeing a brown cardboard box with the Ogre logo, but I can't find it on Kickstarter or BGG. Anyone else remember the picture? Re: final size of 6E box?
I don't remember one that had Ogre printed on it, but I do remember seeing a pic of an 8'x4' piece of cardboard, and the info indicated that it was ONE shipping carton for ONE copy of the game.

Re: final size of 6E box?
You'll need to plan to check the Ogre carton; it won't fit in any overhead bins I'm aware of.

Re: final size of 6E box?
As additional insurance, if you have access to real money, get a flight case to pack it in.
My local military surplus had some that might work for that purpose, last time I was in there. KangarooCases is based in Dallas, BTW. Last edited by six's monkey; 06-13-2013 at 02:06 AM. Reason: after some web research |
