GURPS Ogre is "kinda sorta usually close to canon" . . .

Has anyone tried the "hotrod" re-skin in Ogrezine?

I did the re skin hot rod Mk V, however when I printed it out it is smaller than a Mk. V I had to glue it onto some picture matting I had around. Turned out okay. I know there was a social goal of 250 shares and SJG was going to develop a re skin for Nightfall so I was hoping that they would print those out on card stock and have them pre cut. Some one wanted sticker but I thought if you mess up applying them, even a tiny bit, you're screwed. So if they do offer it only as a PDF I hope the get the print scaling right.

Hm. How much smaller? We had intended those to go onto label stock, and we also intended them to fit . . .

IIRC it was possible to get paper copies...check one of those too. If it's right in the printed but not in the PDF, it's probably an eccentricity of PDF viewers.

I had a similar problem making my own graph paper to mock up stuff for Car Wars, and after much cursing it turned out to be that PDF viewers have a nasty habit of scaling to the printable area of a page.

Yeah, you need to be _very_ sure you are printing at 100% :-(

I've also found that the Mac Preview app is "quirky" compared to Adobe when viewing/printing.

Thanks. I'm going to give the hotrod reskin a try this week. I'll be sure to run a B&W draft copy to check the scaling & make any required adjustments before committing to full resolution color print.

I'll report back and let you know how it goes.

I really like the reskin concept, and hope any kinks can be worked out of it.

Thanks, erik
