So is this thread "Core Sets I'd Like To See?" It sure looks like it, so that's what I'm doing. I drool over the thought of have a Munchkin: The Gathering game.

Re: Munchkin...etc...etc...etc...
Ah, I confused card ideas vs. genre ideas.
I squeamishly defer... Therefore, here are ideas I came up with in May 2010: #1 Munchkin Noir: Set in the black-and-white thriller films of the '40's. #2 Victorian Munchkin: Sherlock Holmes, Jack the Ripper, League of Extraodinary Gentlemen and all that steampunk-ish stuff. #3 Munchkin Here and Now: Set in present day, normal life. Classes might include Businessman, Housewife, Politician, Dock Worker...all spiced up per Munchkin's usual standards.

Re: Munchkin...etc...etc...etc...
I would love to see Munchkin Bites expanded on (who wouldn't want the option of killing a sparkling vampire or an emo werewolf.. ) There is only one expansion and there should be tons of material to work from..
Swamp Munchkin would be interesting, It could open up all the themes of New Orleans & Louisiana ~ voodoo, occult, Aristocracy, Bourbon street, red necks, gators.. Fun fun stuff with all kinds of potential. |

How about a Mythology based set or expansion? Legendary items and powers and battling Gods (or their satirical equivalents anyways). Planes traveling or time traveling set/expansion would be nice and could be used as an expansion that ties all of the sets together and include mixing rules.

Religion never hurt nobody!
"Munchkin Creed" with an "Angles and Munchkins" expansion Time/dimension travel with "Munchkin Who", though this can be and blender dungeon expansion to work with all genres

I think I can say pretty definitely that we'll be steering WELL away from anything like this. We will leave heresy and blasphemy to In Nomine. :-)
