Comitted and Defensive attacks with Ranged Weapons

I'm wondering if you can use these maneuvers from Martial Arts with ranged weapons. In particular with bows, but also with guns or crossbows. The question came up in a session and we figured the answer was no, but wanted to double check later. So anybody know?

No, you can't do Committed or Defensive attacks with ranged weapons. Given that All-Out attack with a ranged weapon only gives you +1 to hit, at the cost of all your defences, there isn't really anything intermediate for a Committed Attack to do.

In the article On Target (Pyr #3/77), I included Committed Aim at least, and an option for the attacks.
