On the table, playing with it! :D

You're assuming we nutters only have one copy of the Battle Box. ;)

Now THIS is why I love this forum! I was sitting here, bemoaning the lack of a "thumbs up" icon for Andrew's post, when you two went and upped the ante! Well said, all of you!

That's just the point. Put together a "gift" pack of these in a Battle Box. The Battle box could be a stretch goal. Storage is always an issue for gamers and this would allow for easier transport than a bunch of loose clam shells.

I actually did this for my niece and nephew a few years ago. I put Ogre Pocket Ed, G.E.V., Shockwave (2000) and Battlefields inside a copy of Ogre: Deluxe Edition (IMHO, still the best version of Ogre map). A tight fit, but I got it all in the box. :-)

The reason I'm asking about Battlesuit is that, well, consensus of the rest of the Ogre line as pocket boxes is pretty clearly a "yes" on this forum. We got the $3 Ogre reprint a few years back, which was amazing, and have been asking for pocket GEV every time we find the flimsiest of excuses.

We love the concept and setting of Battlesuit, but the game mechanics weren't as good or as long-lasting as Ogre. Would it be worth reprinting as-is?

Absolutely worth it as part of a larger project. As to a new edition, that is not currently in the works. If we were to tackle a new edition of the game, it would be a big project and require resources we don't have available today.

I'd buy a pocket-box G.E.V. for sure. In fact, I'd buy a bunch to pass out to the people I gave pocket-edition Ogre a few years ago. A retro reprint (as opposed to a revised edition) is just fine with me. In fact, it's part of the appeal.

Be sure to follow Steve Jackson Games on Kickstarter for notice when the Pocket Box project launches. We expect this to go live mid-January.

So the original maps for Ogre and GEV not the fully painted ones?

I'm fine with the classic maps, just want to know.
