Transhuman Space Memes
OK, I know all about how memetics works in Transhuman Space. But what would their memes be like on their internet? Some thoughts:
[Sad Child] Daddy, why did the GRA take away Felicity? [Nasty Looking Warshell] There's no rational reason to fear Infomorphs. [A terrified Algonaut] Stop oppressing us, you fascist preservationist thugs! [Lobotomized Corpse] Duncanite Penalty for Jaywalking. [Dozens of Confused Security Agents Surround a Body] Duncanites are truly free from the crushing oppression of big government. |

Re: Transhuman Space Memes
It's a mistake to think of THS memes as always taking the same form as present-day Internet "memes". The Internet picture-plus-caption form appeared more recently than THS' rules for memetics, and is far less powerful.

Re: Transhuman Space Memes
Fair, but I assume that internet memes would continue to 2100, and are just imagining what they would look like.

Re: Transhuman Space Memes
It's worth noting that the Web of Transhuman Space is supposed to be a lot different than the early 21st century web. Imagine completely replacing the "captioned image of celebrity" genre with with "3D virtual reality deepfake of celebrity saying thing". Or submitting absurdist content to v-tag crowdsourcing systems—the catch being that the submissions need to sound enough like legitimate tags to fool the stupid NAIs reviewing the submissions.
