Do Khopesh's use Broadsword? For some reason I thought they were Axe/Mace
It would be neat if you referenced Basic Lift on the sheets The Khopesh seems a very odd weapon, its 0U seems painful. I hope its other tricks work out for him |

It can be used with either. See Low Tech page 67 (I think. The exact page reference is from memory)

Re: Octopus Carnival - GURPS Content Posts
Indeed, the khopesh can be used with either Axe/Mace or Broadsword. The Parry 0U does hurt a bit, but Sajan can still parry with Karate or Judo if necessary, or attack with them and leave the sword for parrying. Playing him involves finding funky combinations of armed and unarmed attacks to unleash on enemies, which is more interesting than the "just flurry all the time" approach of the original version.
It would still be a good idea to use the loot from your first delve to buy a "Dwarven" temple sword. |

Time for our next Pathfinder Iconic conversion. This time it's a character you might not be as familiar with: Jirelle the Swashbuckler!

Re: Octopus Carnival - GURPS Content Posts
Writing "year in review" posts seems to be the thing to do, so I've written one myself. As my gaming in 2016 was mostly about GURPS, I class it as a GURPS content post.

Re: Octopus Carnival - GURPS Content Posts
I just noticed this line while looking at the page and noticed I didn't respond to it earlier. Sorry about that!
The character sheets do have Basic Lift listed. It's on the "Secondary Statistics" line right below the four attributes, listed in metric as everything else on the sheet. Same format as the template: Damage, basic lift, HP, Will, Per, FP, Speed, Move. |
