He was expanding on what you said, not contradicting. The lethal-strike/kick example is a nice concrete example of why you can't just ducktape any random two techniques together.

Gotcha. It just oddly seemed like Antoni was saying "yeah but" instead of "Also . . ."

The Technique Mastery (Feint) plus Technique Mastery (DWA) brought up in an earlier tangent probably threw me. TM (DWA) is probably munchkin bait, really, and I'd rule personally it's invalid outside of over-the-top kung fu movie inspired games. "I only fight well with two weapons." But you're kind of asking for it otherwise. ;)

Yeah, sorry if I was less than clear (remember, not a native English speaker). I meant that Feint+other technique is possible, but you need to check that the techs are compatible.

The essential rule is that if you can't use a technique to deliver the initial attack to any of your target's body parts, then you can't use it to feint. This is because if it requires setup (e.g., Arm Lock, which calls for a grapple or a parry first, or Springing Attack, which requires a turn of crouching), it's telegraphed, while if it can be thrown at only one body part (e.g., Arm Lock again, as well as any Targeted Attack), it's predictable. Such things can generally benefit from a previous Feint, to distract from them, and from Deceptive Attacks to switch to them suddenly or execute them quickly, but they can't themselves be feints.
