Default "Yah, robot mule!"

So here's an idea. GURPS Ultratech has the robot mule (p79-80), which can be commanded and teleoperated.

Now, could the wheeled "mule" have reigns so someone with Riding (Equines) is more confortable with the "controls"? I like the idea.

No reason why not, reigns work on a similar process of turning the front wheels of a bike in the first place.

just remember there probably not much in the way of shock absorbers in the robot mule's drive-train

the main issue will be acceleration control

Not much shock absorption in a live mule's drive-train either.

LOL true.
As for accelearation control you can also put sensors in the body to respond to pressure. no reason you cant retrofit a robo mule to respond to all riding stimuli just like a regular one.

Yeah but most Robo mules are controlled with Teamster from the Wagon seat which can have shock absorbers 8)
