Weapon Master (25)
Are two weapons normally used together any two weapons the player is going to use together, or two weapons tied together in some realistic style?
If a Martial Artist begins with say, WM (Nunchaku) and then starts using a sai in his off-hand under main gauche skill. Can he advance to WM (Nunchaku and Sai)? |

Re: Weapon Master (25)
Two weapons normally used together meaning two that have been paired together historically.
Sword and shield, rapier and main gauche, etc. As for adding points to increase your weapon mastery, I don't see any reason to restrict or prevent it in DFRPG. |

Re: Weapon Master (25)
I don’t see a reason to restrict a fantasy game to historical weapon styles. Two weapons normally used together can be any two weapons used by the character. It could be mace and spear, sickle and hammer, pick and whip, whatever. As long it’s two separate weapons that are used together, it’s fine.

Re: Weapon Master (25)
The idea is "two weapons YOU normally use together." Trying to find a universal sense of "normal" in hack 'n' slash RPG is a lost cause. If somebody always fights with a katana and spiked whip, nunchaku and sai, dress smallsword and pick, . . . go right ahead.
