Can't make it go faster than 600 mph

If anyone still reads this forum, then please help.
I can't seem to make any vehicle faster than 600 mph no matter how much thrust I input. I put plenty of armor on, so that's not it.
Any ideas?

Aerial top speeds are limited by DR, streamlining (good or less is capped at 600 mph), having Propellers or rotors. You can turn this off by checking the "unclamp top speed" option in the edit Aerial performance dialog.

Ground performance is also limited by streamlining.
