Re: Minor League Supers [Powers/Supers]
Lott can transform into stone, in which form she is a low powered brick. Unfortunately the stone is halite, and she easily dissolves in water. (Typically she washes up somewhere downstream in her human form 1d days later.)

Re: Minor League Supers [Powers/Supers]
Suicide Squid is a enigmatic alien who has a roughly spherical eyeless main body festooned with tentacles that can grow longer or shorter. It's very agile and strong enough to carry a person but not very good at punching due to being an invertebrate. It rarely fights anyway. Instead it seems to enjoy swinging from projection to projection scanning with it's para-radar for living creatures who seem to be in peril. When it finds one it swoops in and snatches the threatened creature, removing it to a place of safety. Unfortunately it has has no idea what a police officer is or how human sexuality works, so it has repeatedly misinterpreted situations. It's also just as likely to rescue a dog or a cat as a human. Still it seems to mean well.

Re: Minor League Supers [Powers/Supers]
The year was 1970, and a villain called the Blue Blaster struck the streets. His powers weren't overwhelming, but he dominated the street-crime of his city for weeks, robbing banks and securities exchanges and jewelry shops at will. But eventually superheroes took him down and the Blue Blaster went to prison.
When he was captured, it was discovered that the Blue Blaster's power was derived from his suit, using exotic super-technology that resisted anaysis. The Blue Blaster himself couldn't duplicate it as he had created it in an LSD-induced psychotic episode. Then the suit was stolen. The second Blue Blaster had a faster fall and ended up in the hospital. The suit seemed to have a slow self-repair function, and soon it was stolen by one of the people examining it, and the third Blue Blaster tried to use it to kill a cheating girlfriend, but ended up dying in a fire he had started. In the following almost half-century, sixty-three men and women have worn the power-suit of the Blue Blaster. Most were villains, a few were heroes. Some used other names. Half have died, half of the survivors have ended up with life-altering injuries, the rest ended up in prison. The suit always seems to turn up, no matter how throughly it is disposed of. The suit is rumored to be cursed. But there's always someone who doesn't believe in curses, or never heard the stories, or thinks he has a lucky charm, or simply finds the abilities the suit grants to be too tempting. So they put it on ... and the Curse of the Blue Blaster claims yet another victim. ================================================= Blue Blaster Suit [197 points] Attributes: ST +10 (Gadget -35%; Maximum Duration/30 minutes -25%) [40] Advantages: Clinging (Gadget -35%; Maximum Duration/30 minutes -25%) [8] Damage Reduction (10) (Gadget -35%; Maximum Duration/30 minutes -25%) [60] Damage Resistance 3 (Gadget -35%) [10] Damage Resistance +5 (Flexible -20%; Gadget -35%) [12] Flight (Controlled Gliding -45%; Gadget -35%) [8] Super-Jump 2.5 (Gadget -35%; Limited Use/10x per day -10%) [12] Innate Attack (Burning) 10 (Accurate +2, +10%; Armor Divisor (2), +50%; Explosion 1, +50%; Variable, +5%; Gadget -35%; Limited Use/10x per day -10%) [85] Sealed (Gadget -35%) [10] Perk: Striking Surface [1] Disadvantages: Cursed (Gadget -35%) [-49] "Gadget" Modifier = Breakable/DR 15 -10%; Can Be Stolen/Forcibly -10%; Size Modifier/SM -3 -15%. Re: Minor League Supers [Powers/Supers]
While I’d certainly allow this, I think RAW would be to take Cursed as a Temporary Disadvantage on the various powers the suit grants. This would actually result in a lower cost for the suit (TD is limited to 80% of the Limitation value, and you have expensive enough Advantages to reach this point, so [-49] would become [-60]) and result in the curse not counting toward the campaign Disadvantage limit, so it would also be a good idea from an optimization standpoint (if you care about that, of course).
I think Blue Blaster is one of the best entries in this mostly-joke-character thread. Outstanding work.

Re: Minor League Supers [Powers/Supers]
Cursed items of power are certainly in genre for, well, many genres even ones not officially supernatural. Very memorable entry, I agree.

Re: Minor League Supers [Powers/Supers]
Based on the description I'd use the disadvantageous form of Destiny instead. Cursed implies that everything will go wrong every time they use the suit. Destiny implies they will end up badly because they keep using the suit and the suit "marks" its owners for an eventual fate.

Cowhand can moo-instantaneously transform his hand into a fill sized cow. He has a nasty punch, and an odd mount, but is otherwise outclassed and out to pasture.
