Re: Any of the adventures/locations in Pyramid or elsewhere good for a beginner GM?
Given the reference to the cliffhanger adventure, I believe he's talking about the second edition of Pyramid (that is, the subscription web-page version), not Best of Pyramid, vol. 2. There were hundreds if not thousands of articles over the years, and I can think of at least four adventures I wrote for it (one of which is the aforementioned cliffhanger, published in several parts with cliff-hanging endings).

The problem is metadata: "Adventure" or "cliffhangers" are common keywords, and the articles with complete adventures (as opposed to reviews of someone else's adventures, or promising exciting adventures in a world of ...) do not have special markup. A handful of those articles are available as free samples, I think staffers can turn an article into a free sample in about 5 minutes but they are busy. Otherwise, only the former subscribers have access: SJG does not think that they would sell enough to justify organizing them and putting them in a format like PDF.

OK. I understand.
Now, if those adventures are not available, I think that adding them into a list would be pointless: newcomers (or older ones) won't have access to them. |
