Marvel munchkin mind gem
2 questions on the mind gem (discard 3 cards to force a player to help for first pick of treasure)
1. Can i force a player to help when im winning already? 2. Can i at lvl 8 force a player to help which at this point would be me going for level 9. Then once theyre in use a gual card on myself and theyre still stuck helping me? |

No. You can't ask for (or compel) help when you're winning a combat.
As of a very recent rule change, the answer is no - if you compel someone to help you and the fight turns into a fight for the win, your helper is kicked out of the combat. Forcing someone to help you win the game is munchkinly in the bad way, not the fun way.

Re: Marvel munchkin mind gem
Interesting.
Thank you for the answers, question 1 isnt surprising but thought it was worth an ask but tbh question 2 is very surprising. So im assuming the ejection happens as soon as the winning level is on the line, the second another monster enters correct? I cant use a magical lamp equivalent (lokis helmet?) When a monsters thrown in to dump a monster out to force the person to stay as it would no longer be for the level? I know munchkin has no chaining system except trap counters so im assuming that they would be ejected as soon as another monster enters but just checking? |

Yes. You can still ASK someone to help you, and if you can kick a monster out so you won't win the game, they might even do it.
