Default how to use a blank card

I just bought the Unnatural axe and now have blank cards, but i cant find any rules relating to them and my question is exactly that, how do i use them?

some additional Q's:
do the cards need to remain feasible, so no +50 bonus equipment from the Door deck or lvl 100 monster you cant run from in the treasure deck?

am i welcome to write one into a card permanently for my deck?

can you choose to have it be other cards in the deck, like Hammer of Kneecaping?

You basically make your own card. It can be whatever you want. And if you can get it signed by certain people, Andrew Hackard, Steve Jackson or maybe someone else, you can use it in official games.

Make it whatever you want it to be for your deck.

The intent is to make it your own card, yes. Anything you can imagine.

You can still use it in other creative ways, though. For example, some people use blank cards to allow the use of certain promo items, like bookmarks or whatever. Draw the card, and you get access to the item written on it.

Keep in mind that posting card ideas in this forum is not allowed (I mention this because a discussion of blank cards might naturally head that direction).

In my experience, Sharpie markers work really well for making custom cards, and they come in a variety of colors. I wouldn't use any other brand; no other type of marker I have tried has worked, usually because they smudge and smear.

I'm thinking about hosting a Google Hangout in January that will talk, among other things, about card design dos and don'ts. Would y'all be interested?

I use mine as bookmarks, dart targets, dust collectors, interesting art mat items. Or get the folks from SJ to autograph them.

Not yet - other stuff got in the way. I definitely haven't forgotten the idea, however, and we may do it in March or April.
