Run away from multiple monsters
Hello everyone ! Sorry for my horrible english, I hope you'll untersand.
When you lose a combat against 2 or 3 monsters, you successively have to run away from each of them. For each fail, you immediatly suffer the bad stuffs. Let's imagine you lose against Plutonium Dragon + Tut King. You want to run away from the dragon in first but you fail. Then you die and so, you don't suffer the King Tut's bad stuffs (lose all your cards). But, King Tut makes you lose two levels even if you succeed your runaway. So, if you even can't try to escape because of your death, do you lose two levels anyway ? This effect applies before run away even if you don't try ? Thanks a lot |

Re: Run away from multiple monsters
Once you have died, you cannot gain or lose levels, so it doesn't matter. However, no, you wouldn't have to suffer any of the effects from trying to Run Away from King Tut.
(The reason for this rule is because otherwise people could gang up on a dead player and knock them down several levels while they literally could not defend themselves.)

Re: Run away from multiple monsters
Thank you for your answer and your quickness.
Another question comes in my mind. If you want to run away from king Tut in first and you fail, then you lose all your cards (bad stuff) but, do you lose also your levels (not bad stuff) before run away from the dragon ? Last edited by Lea; 07-28-2017 at 10:53 AM. |

Yes. Resolve Bad Stuff as it happens.

Re: Run away from multiple monsters
Ah ok. "Lose two levels" is considered as a bad stuff too.
Thanks a lot. Last edited by Lea; 07-28-2017 at 12:41 PM. |

Re: Run away from multiple monsters
Quote:
According to this reply, I just need an information about a multiple monsters case which happened just yesterday: Player level 4, facing both King Tut and Wight Brothers. He couldn't win at all, so he tried to run away. He ran away successfully from King Tut but, according to the monster's card, he lost 2 levels anyway. Now, I think, he is no more a 4 level player, but only a 2 level player, isn't he? Well, next he had to escape the Wight Brothers but they don't pursue players below level 3... So I ask: according to your post (where bad things of the first monster affect the player immediately, so that the second one could not drain levels to him), I think that in this case my friend had not to deal with Wight brothers as he dropped to level 2 after king Tut and the Wight brothers did not pursue a level 2 player. Am I right? Thank you in advance for the answer |

Re: Run away from multiple monsters
This is correct. Once he lost the levels to King Tut, the Wight Brothers lost interest in chasing him.
