Also note that a knife does not have a RoF, short of some cinematic options or some Extra Attack/Technique cheese.
But a silenced gun does. |

Re: [HT][TS]Tactics for realistic suppressors
All-out Attack (Double). You don't even get penalised on the second strike. (Or Rapid Strike at -6/-6 but you get to defend as normal. Or both, for three attacks at -6/-6/-6 and no defence.) None of this needs a special character build.

Re: [HT][TS]Tactics for realistic suppressors
Oddly enough, many of the real-world weapons that are favoured for use with suppressors have RoF 1. This is explained on p158-159 of High-Tech, and mentioned in several weapon descriptions, most clearly in the Ruger Standard MK1 on p100.

More importantly, the Webley has a range greater than C and doesn't require sentry removal training to use safely.

Sufficiently so that I'm wondering if that's realistic, or if the silencer rules or the hearing rules are being over-harsh? |

The RAW for this is based on measurable quantities (decibel levels) and seems reasonable. What isn't realistic here is the high damage for melee weapons. |

Re: [HT][TS]Tactics for realistic suppressors
Really? The penetration of melee weapons is commonly criticized, but this is a matter of wounding.
