Default Editing Errors in DF8: Treasure Tables

Just starting to read through this. Typically I can ignore the occasional typo, but there seems to be a consistent problem with the page number references in this work. For example, take a look at Example 1 on p.6 under Using the Tables section. There are numerous page number references to sections elsewhere in the pdf, but they are all inaccurate. Looks like someone didn't hit the refresh or recalculate key before printing.

I'm finding additional errors/omissions. Should I continue to post them here, or is there a better way to communicate this?

Containers table, p. 20, is missing entry for 4, 6.

There's an errata email, but I forget what it is.

There is information on Errata for the various games here:
http://www.sjgames.com/errata/

There is a form where you can report Errata here:
http://www.sjgames.com/errata/errata.html

Submit errata for e23 titles just like any other book.

Thanks for pointing this out. We'll definitely look into this, and hopefully we can get a revised version uploaded soon. However, please keep in mind that we've got about eight office hours left before the office shuts down for two weeks, so it's entirely possible that we won't be able to get a revised version up before the new year.

One nice thing about SJ Games, PDFs and their errata policy, they believe in Linus Trovold's quote "Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow." The readers point out the errors and, if they're actual errors they (usually) get fixed.

This one is the author's fault (bastard!) rather than an editing error. We'll get it fixed, but until we do, the entry for 4, 5 should be 4, 5-6.

And because it's all electronic, they get fixed without having to reprint, reship, and otherwise expensively shuffle product. The future is awesome!

I have the joke, and have used it to admonish companies that aren't utilizing technology very well, that we're "living in the future" and they should be doing better than that. Considering I remember when the film 2010 came out and thought that was a long way off in the gee wizz future when it did, that should say something.

Yeah, I wish more companies embraced the future like that as well.
