Hmmm. While I'm in here, lets see what the Kickstarter exclusive sheets are going for... YIKES! If those buy-it-now prices aren't delusional, I could sell the sealed set of the three Kickstarter sheets I've kept aside have for well above what I paid for the whole dang game! |

I recently sold off the last of my extra ODE components, and overall made back well more than the two copies of the game cost me.

Re: So ... any chance of Pocket GEV?
jfleisher, I'm extremely interested in a copy of the ogre pocket if you still have an extra. I haven't played the game since the eighties when a friend of mine brought it over. I just attended gencon 2016 and was searching for a copy, only found Hill 218. I didn't realize they released a retro version but I would love that. I want to intro it to my gaming group for "in between" the big names that are popular these days.
I just registered because I did not realize there was an active community for Ogre/GEV. My vote for the GEV pocket would be for color maps with retro either available or extra. Price point is not necessarily an issue with me but for getting new in (like I would like to do) it can be a hill. That being said the cost of some of these used on Ebay is ridiculous. Even when readily available, some unscrupulous types were asking $20 (or more) for Ogre Pocket Edition, when the picture clearly showed it was priced at $2.95 on the cover. |

Re: So ... any chance of Pocket GEV?
Yeah, Amazon and eBay sellers love "speculative" pricing. You'll often see books that are technically out-of-print marked at $100+ even when they're still readily available on shelves. They're hoping to find a sucker, but they usually don't.
The best way to find out what something is actually worth is to search eBay completed listings and see what sold. You'll see that OGRE Pocket Edition, for example, is mostly $14-$15, with extremes from $5-$30. (But there's also been less than a dozen copies sold on eBay ever. Things can be hard to find even if they're not expensive...) |

The two copies of Ogre pocket edition have been sold to forum members. I will keep an eye out for more.

Makes me wonder what my quadrupal set of Ogre, double set of GEV and double set of Shockwave are worth?
