I’d snap those all up in a heartbeat. And they look like a pretty good spread of the generally described mental "market share" for GURPS as a whole.

But why Kickstarter, if they’re already sinking the costs for writing, layout, and production? Does Kickstarter offer wider "advertising" exposure than a simple W23 release? Or will lower pledge levels allow a straightforward bit of "market research" to see what people will actually buy?
I'll also note that you're missing two: Horseman (a GURPS Horror bit) and Uptight Calamari (RPM).

True; my impression was that those were longer titles, to be published independently, rather than as part of this notional Kickstarter package.

But feel free to tell me I'm wrong. :-)

Alas, I cannot tell you anything, simply point out that you're missing two titles. :-)

So, the GURPS 2020 PDF Challenge splash image reveals four titles:
  • Action 6: Tricked-Out Rides (by Sean Punch)
  • Hot Spots: The Incense Trail (by Matt Riggsby)
  • How to be a GURPS GM: Ritual Path Magic (“Uptight Calamari”) (by Christopher R. Rice)
  • Steampunk Adventure: The Broken Clockwork World (by Phil Masters)

...with eight more titles to come!

We will have more news before the project launches. At the start, only one of the PDFs will be available. Unlocking stretch goals will add more titles to the rewards.

Is Kickstarter the new model for producing GURPS (and other) content? I enjoy a good Kickstarter as much as the next person, but it's also nice to be able to just buy a new supplement now and again.

I recommend waiting for us to release details before jumping to conclusions. This project is special and _not_ what to expect from all GURPS releases.
