Adventure Time Lute Suit and Musician

What happens if a Musician uses Lyricist and has a Lute Suit? Since the helper doesn't get a reward, do they get first pick of nothing?

My official ruling: The Lute Suit still gives the helper first pick of the Treasures, but the Lyricist ability prevents the helper from claiming any other rewards.

As a side note, I might have ruled the other way if the Lute Suit were not a Musician-only Item, but it is a double "screw you" to force someone to help for no rewards at all AND get an extra Treasure for an Item that non-Musicians can't use without a Cheat! card. This balances it somewhat.
