allowing an elf to help when you don't need it
Are you allowed to let a player who's an elf help you in combat to gain a level, even if you don't need their assistance?

Re: allowing an elf to help when you don't need it
The rules allow a munchkin who is -losing- to -ask- for help.
More specifically, you must be in a combat, losing that combat, and not already have a helper. It is inherently against the munchkin code to accept help when they don't need it, after all, you might get less glory that way. |

More to the point, it's against the rules, which describe clearly when you CAN ask for help (meaning that you cannot in other cases).
