Re: Ogre Kickstarter
In that case, if it's still the 21.5" * 18.25" * 4" that was announced in that video (although the video did infer it could get deeper) and if the weight remained 16 pounds after all the new additions from the stretch goals, it looks like I might stick to the US shipping option as I should be able to get shipping of about $100 through the foreign shipping site I use.

Re: Ogre Kickstarter
And you know, we DID talk about playing up the "these are Combine areas/allies" bit in the video. And the big reason we decided not to was that it IS a coincidence that these are the places where FedEx's bid was clear, and we didn't want anybody deciding that Europe and Scandinavia had been deliberately slighted.
And a New Zealander asked on KS if Australia included NZ (which is a question I never thought I would hear a New Zealander ask!) but I have no idea what FedEx thinks. And we've got one persistent poster who wants rates to Brazil . . . This is the second day in a row that [almost] every waking hour except for personal emergencies has gone to Ogre. I did approve some Munchkin layouts today. It's also the second day in a row that there's one very important thing still on the list that I know I don't have the brain cells to tackle right now. The good news is that one of the personal emergencies has shot heck out of tomorrow's planned fanboy trip, so I will stay home and work on my >900 inbox and Ogre. This is fun, and engrossing, and several of us are pretty fried, and the game has to go to print in a month. Wish us luck! |

Re: Ogre Kickstarter
HA! Take that, Ogre fans!
We won't mention that I probably spent more time on Ogre stuff than Steve spent on Munchkin . . .

Re: Ogre Kickstarter
A few questions about update #13
When do you see the extras sheets being put on W23? Will there be a cap on the numbers sold per customer*? I have been through the updates and main page FAQ etc and have a list of Kickstarter exclusive sheets, will these all be available through W23 or only some? The list (so far??!!): - Targets Go Boom sheet - Nuclear reactor sheet - Overlays (possibly if $350k not reached though I very much doubt this will be an issue) - unsurveyed $350k sheet *I can foresee a nightmare of these selling out very fast indeed... Basically I would love to get these sheets, but the price to get the game through kickstarter rather than FLGS, by the time HMG add on vat and customs duties (as they include shipping fees in the value) and handling fees by the postal service will be too high for me (I don't think I'd see much change from £200 ($300)). Many thanks for your time. |
