From the sound bite, I would say that the kick starter program will allow the 6e components to be upgraded at various levels. The example they used was the double sided maps becoming single sided, allowing larger playing areas. Personally, I would rather see more double sided maps.

Unless the price for single-sided mapboards is way up there, I'm going at least that far up the list. What a great idea.

Thanks for letting us know about that interview, Matt. I never follow that kind of thing, so I never would have found it.

The key thing to know about this Kickstarter is that it won't determine whether we make Ogre 6e; that's happening regardless. It will determine how much bigger and better we can afford to make it over the already ambitious specs.
