That's not true; I know exactly what it is, and I couldn't be less involved.

Was it confirmed that what he's adapting is a GURPS 3rd edition work? If so, I missed that.

It's GIN.
No, it's bigger than that. GURPS Pathfinder. SJG and Paizo team up to bring you the best of both worlds.

Because I believe wild speculation should be as wild as possible.

Adapted, not adapting -- it's a thing of the past, baby. In fact, I'd expect it to pop up some time in the next couple of months (insert boilerplate about "not a promise" and "circumstances may change this" and blah blah blah here).

But yeah, it was a little 3e gem that we wanted to introduce to the new edition. And I think the two will get along just fine.

-- Hm. Caravan to Ein Arris was already converted, so it's not that. "Little" implies low page count. "Gem" implies something well regarded or worth a second look.

-- Bestiary is probably too large to be updated easily, so might not be that (one can hope, though). Same for Blood Types (although that seems directly relevant to Monster Hunters).

-- Presumably it has some connection to recent projects, so uhm. Hmm. Screampunk seems unlikely. Steampunk probably needs VDS for a revamp.

-- Places of Mystery would fit, but uhh ... what would need to be updated?

-- I think I'll go with GURPS Wizards as my guess. GAME ON!

Steampunk would be a very smart move, given the current level of interest in the genre.

Besides more tantalizing updates about the Book That Shall Not Be Named, this week we learned that the production PDF of MH4: Sidekicks has been reviewed, meaning release is imminent. DF13: Loadouts, meanwhile, is out of production, and Psi-Tech has entered it.

...That's it. Carry on with the speculation!

I can't believe everyone hasn't figured this out yet. It's so totally obvious what Kromm is working on:

GURPS: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

(That, or GURPS: Star Wars)

Hmmm...

Funny -- the Doc is the *second* SJG-related person I've heard refer to a "project that must not be named," though the first was some time ago. Still, if the two are connected, that gives me some suspicions ...

No, no, I'm not sharing. And I'm probably not right, anyway. (And yes, I promise to be honest about whether I was when the thing breaks the surface. Gotta play fair!)
