But it's nice to have a quick-find index of official Talents if you want a character write-up to have the most compatibility with existing sources when it comes time to share the write-up with others.

Well, that wasn't my argument, exactly. My point would be better illustrated by asking what will happen down the road if SJG publishes a Power-Ups book of Talents. We've set a precedent here that the various details of official Talents can be posted here publicly.

If I was worried about it I wouldn't have put it up there. The information about a Talent is basically it's name and what skills it covers, neither of which are particularly proprietary. Everything else is just fluff or derived from what (how many) skills it covers.

It looked like you were worried that posting a detailed list of Talents would somehow hurt sales. So I thought that you thought people bought the books just for the Talents.
