I personally don't see that specific attack as being especially useful, but I agree in principle. 50 points is actually a pretty good target. For the gravity super I posted in my own thread, I used a maximally limited TK 50 (Visible, -20%, Repulsion, -60%, Increased Range, +20%, power mods, -20%) [50]. I was able to use AAs to get the opposite TK (a bit weird that you can get Attraction and Repulsion cheaper than Attraction/Repulsion, but I don't see any rule against it), Crushing Attack 3d with Ignores DR, and Binding 30.

The key thing with any AA is that it should be thematic. For example:

Crushing Attack 8d (Aura, +80%; Double Knockback, +20%; Melee, C, No Parry, -30%; No Blunt Trauma, -20%; No Signature, +20%; No Wounding, -50%; Super, -10%; Uncontrollable, -30%; Variable, +5%) [50]

Crushing Attack 3d (AA; Delay, +20%; Malediction 1, +100%; No Signature, +20%; Super, -10%; Symptom, 1/3 HP; Choaking, +100%) [10]

It would really help if u wrote a line or two on what the attack is supposed to be, instead of just listing modifiers

The first attack would be a Psychokinetic Defensive Aura, which would toss the average attacker seven yards when they attack the character (or their weapon, in the case of a baseball bat or sword). The second attack is just a classic PK Choke.

If that's what it's supposed to be, I don't think Symptom makes much sense. I honestly don't think Choking makes much sense as a Symptom, anyway. Choking can be fixed with a mundane countermeasure that takes a few seconds to apply. That doesn't really make sense with being a Symptom.

Unless another book contradicts it, Choking isn't actually a legal Symptom, as it falls under Incapacitation (B36), and Symptoms (B109) only allow for Advantage, Attribute Penalty, Disadvantage, Irritant, and Negated Advantage. See B35-36 for the Affliction categories. Side Effect: Choking (+150%) would make sense, however.

Yes, you are right, it would instead be something else. It should instead be Affliction 1 (Choking, +100%; Delay, +20%; Link, +20%; Malediction 1, +100%; No Signature, +20%; Super, -10%) [35] plus Crushing Attack 1d (Delay, +20%; Link, +20%; Malediction 1, +100%; No Signature, +20%; Super, -10%) [13]. In combination, they are a 10 CP AA to the defensive aura.

Death Metal

Death Metal is the name for a female supervillain who uses her magnetic powers to commit crimes. Her principle ability is TK 120 (Magnetism, -50%; Reduced Range, /5, -20%; Reliable, +10, +50%; Super, -10%; Uncontrollable, -30%; Visible, -20%) [120]. While she is a one-trick pony, she is a very effective one-trick pony, as she is capable of hurling cars six dozen yards with pin point accuracy with just a thought.

Pinky Tuskadero can transform into a giant neon-pink hog of considerable durability. She is a frenemy of Javelina - they have fought, teamed up, and exchanged serious insults multiple times.
