Pocket Box - Ogre and . . . G.E.V.?
Now that the tooling is almost complete for the new plastic Pocket Box, it's time that we take the next step to prepare the reproductions of classic games.

There has been a little voice in the back of my mind hoping for this but I've been suppressing it savagely! I'll also reply in more detail on the other forum, but my short answer is ALL OF THEM! I had ordered an extra Pocket Box on the Fantasy Trip Kickstarter just so I could get a new box to stuff all my old Pocket Box-sized components of Ogre, G.E.V., Shockwave, etc., etc. into the newer bigger box. I never had Illuminati and have kicked myself over that. Now I can fix that. Please, Please, make some blank Pocket Boxes available. I'd like to use a color copier to reduce down some of the ODE components (and/or some of the sponsered counter sheet components) and make myself my own custom Ogre supplement! (Yeah, one copy only and only for my own use. Nobody else will get that baby!) Please do this. Please do this. Please do this. Please do this . . . Bowser

For me - and on this forum - Battlesuit deserves a deep look. Is it worth doing a straight-ahead reprint? Or does the game need an overhaul smaller-scale but similar to Car Wars ? |

This project is not about new editions. If we were to create a new edition, that would be in the future and separate from this. We are creating reproductions for everyone who wants a chance to replace classic Pocket Box games.

Re: Pocket Box - Ogre and . . . G.E.V.?
Take my money! :D
Naturally, I'd like to see rules cleanup and so on, but I'd buy straight-up reprints of nearly all the games you listed over on BGG (where I have also replied, with an ordered list). I seriously look forward to some of those. Thanks much. :) Any word on when we might see Pocket Box Ogre? I'd like to get a copy for a friend (who has the big box). I'd love to get GEV for him and his kids, too. (Mind you, I want them all as soon as possible. :D)

I'd love to see those. I'm going to have to put some thought as to which ones to vote for. My GEV, Truck Stop, and Awful Green Things boxes are still functioning just fine. (Edit: and Battlesuit.)

The Pocket Box project will be for everything (that we end up producing) at once. Plus, as requested, empty/blank boxes.

Re: Pocket Box - Ogre and . . . G.E.V.?
I'm assuming these are "the" pocket box versions (i.e., the 1982 3rd Editions with the color Denis Loubet maps)?
Will there be any cleanup at all (adding errata), or just a raw straight reprint? I'd even be ok with a little loose piece of paper with the errata, similar to what was in Ogre: Deluxe Edition (or maybe with a link to the errata page). ogre_errata.jpg Even though it's not on the list, I'd love to see a pocket box version of Shockwave and Battlefields, too.
